The touch bar and keyboard functions are still not working. The issue should come from the motherboard<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Take out the motherboard, and measure the diode value on the IPD B2B connector JT400#<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rewa.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/04__IPD_B2B.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>All the diode values are OK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then connect with the DC power supply and measure the voltage values. After measuring, we find that pin 29# (<span style=\"font-family: 'Courier New'; font-size: 13.44pt;\">PP5V_S2_IPD_F<\/span>) voltage value is abnormal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Keep tracking the schematic, and we find the 5V voltage is provided by the UC840.<\/p>\n<p>The basic working conditions for the UC840 including power and enable<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.44pt; font-family: 'Courier New';\">PP5V_S2<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Courier New'; font-size: 13.44pt;\">P5V_S2SW_IPD_EN<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Courier New'; font-size: 13.44pt;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>After measuring, the 5V voltage (PP5V_S2) is OK. However, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">the ENABLE signal (P5V_S2SW_IPD_EN) is not OK.<\/span> The voltage value on this rail should be 1.8V, but there is no voltage.<span style=\"font-size: 13.44pt; font-family: 'Courier New';\"><\/span><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rewa.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/05__The_enable_and_power.png\" width=\"1400\" height=\"657\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.44pt; font-family: 'Courier New';\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<p>So we should keep tracking the enable signal, after searching the schematic.
