You can make a backup of your device using iCloud. Or you can make a backup of your device in iTunes. What\u2019s more, you can also make a backup in iCloud and another in iTunes for dual insurance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/0091f16a-e6a3-46b2-9222-ea1b1da4635e-2-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Erase All Content And Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Since you have finished the backup process, now we can move on to the wipe process.Although a general reset can help to clear all data of your used iPhone with just a few steps, it\u2019s always safer to individually delete some tough items before that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/76dab705-e053-49dc-af0f-01f397755099-4-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">1. Remove photos and delete Apps.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">2. Turn off Find My iPhone. Heading to <strong>Settings &gt; iCloud &gt; Find My iPhone<\/strong>. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">3. Turn iMessage off. Heading to <strong>Settings &gt; Messages &gt; iMessage, <\/strong>toggle it off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">4. Turn FaceTime off. Heading to <strong>Settings &gt; FaceTime, <\/strong>toggle it off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">5. Delete all accounts. Open <strong>Ajustes<\/strong>, tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and tap on each account you\u2019ve added and tap <strong>Delete Account.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">6. Disable all passcodes\/restriction codes. Head over to <strong>Settings &gt; General &gt; Restrictions and Disable Restrictions <\/strong>(enter the restriction passcode).<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">7. Disable your iCloud account. Heading to <strong>Settings &gt; iCloud,<\/strong>\u00a0tap &#8220;Sign Out&#8221;. 8. Log out of Apple ID. Heading to <strong>Settings &gt; iTunes &amp; App Store, <\/strong>tap Apple ID and sign out. Now Goes General Reset (Erase All Content\/Settings)Open <strong>Ajustes<\/strong>\u00a0and tap on <strong>General<\/strong>, scroll to the bottom and tap on <strong>Restablecer<\/strong>, then tap on <strong>Erase All Content and Settings.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/af7ee0c0-efed-487c-aee8-c855274a3f36-3-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Apple Pay\/Credit Card and Touch ID Fingerprint Wiping<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">For security reasons, you can manually remove individual cards and fingerprints on the used iPhone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">For Touch ID fingerprint<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>wiping, go to <strong>Settings &gt; Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>\u00a0menu. The <strong>Passbook &amp; Apple Pay<\/strong>\u00a0(iOS 8) or <strong>Wallet &amp; Apple Pay <\/strong>(iOS 9) menu handle cards. For Safari web transactions, go to <strong>Settings &gt; Safari &gt; AutoFill &gt; Credit Cards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Unpair Your\u00a0Used iPhone<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Take a backup of your data before unpairing the used iPhone with all the other devices (for instance, Apple watch).<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Unregister Your Used iPhone<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Unregister your account from Apple Support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Disassociate Your Used iPhone From Your Account<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Call your carrier and ask them to disassociate the old iPhone from your account.
