iPhone 7 Wi-Fi Not Working, the Wi-Fi option can not be turned on in Wi-Fi settings.

And the screen gets stuck when checking the Wi-Fi address in the general option.

For the iPhone 7 Wi-Fi Not Working issue. Because the Wi-Fi could not be turned on, we have to check the working conditions for the Wi-Fi chip.

First, check the reset signal line on R0806, the diode value is 374, which is normal.

Then measure the voltage values on C7602, C1605, L7600_RF, the measured values are 4.15V, 1.79V, and 1.34V, all of them are normal.

Then remove the Wi-Fi chip and checked the diode values on the pads. After checking, all of the values are normal. So we can conclude that the Wi-Fi chip should be broken, then get the Wi-Fi chip replaced with a new one.

For iPhone 7, there’s some encrypted connection between the Wi-Fi chip and NAND, so we will need to délier the connection between the Wi-Fi and the NAND.

The previous unbinding method is we should remove the NAND, then put into the NAND chip into NAND programmer to unbind. After that, solder back the NAND to the motherboard.

And by now, other more convenient methods are introduced.

For example, if the motherboard can be connected with a computer, then we can unbind the connection between Wi-Fi and NAND with a programmer like the iRepair P10 

After finish unbinding, replace another Wi-Fi module and tested again, the Wi-Fi option could be turned on, and the Wi-Fi function was back to normal, problem resolved.

Conseils : For iPhone 6s and above models, the Wi-Fi module is bundled with the NAND flash chip.

We should unbind the connection between the NAND and Wi-Fi chip with the relevant programmer.

• if the phone can be turned on and connected with a PC, then unbind with P10 programmer is preferred
• if the phone cannot startup, then the unbinding process can be finished by the WL programmer
