iPhone 7 Home Button Not Working<\/o_p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Malfunction Phenomenon<\/o_p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Press the power button and power on the phone, the home button can not work and it’s burning hot.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Trouble Shooting<\/o_p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

We checked the motherboard and home button, there was no trace of deformation or water damage, both of them seems good. We connected the motherboard with screen and home button installed to DC power machine, the current value was higher than normal.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

When we tested, the Home Button was burning hot, which means there might be some damaged components on the home button flex. We apply some rosin to coat with home button flex and connected with DC power to test again. The rosin on the surface of the chip was melt immediately.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n
