Especially when it comes to our daily used iPhones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Sure, we are not celebrities who have lots of things to hide from the public.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">But still, there is a risk that someday someone might want access to other people\u2019s digital life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Thieves, for example, can be an animated example to violate the privacy and security of ordinary people by breaking in their iPhone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">So, what can we do to avoid the violation of iPhone security?<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Here are some REWA tips to help to increase the iPhone security!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Passcode &amp; Touch ID<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">The first but also most important security setting to enable is the passcode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">If you already have one, then try to improve it with a 6-digit or alphanumeric code.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Aller \u00e0 <strong>Settings&gt;Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>, choose <strong>Change Passcode<\/strong>. (First, you\u2019ll have to enter in your current one.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Then tap <strong>Passcode Options<\/strong>\u00a0and choose <strong>Custom Alphanumeric Code<\/strong>\u00a0to set your new, more complex passcode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/abb6c686-2299-49f5-b783-5d64ebe5f4aa-5-6.jpg\" width=\"534\" height=\"407\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">As for touch ID, some users might set up Touch ID so that they can unlock the iPhone quickly and easily using their fingerprint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Yet the touch ID also adds a layer of iPhone security by allowing users to use a fingerprint scan in lieu of typing in their passcode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Simply go to Settings and tap on <strong>Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>\u00a0to set it up.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Home Screen Features<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/69586414-21b8-4ff7-adde-1c9d34e6c3c0-3-8.jpg\" width=\"512\" height=\"411\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">One more assignment with <strong>Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>. Go to <strong>Param\u00e8tres &gt; Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>, and scroll down to see your lock screen access.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Items here can truly reveal a lot of things and the fewer that are on, the better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Turn off as many features as you\u2019d like under the <strong>Allow Access When Locked <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Once turned off, you won\u2019t be able to access these features until you unlock your iPhone.<strong>Location Protection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/596f6b9a-d14c-4daf-b66c-b49dee494855-4-8.jpg\" width=\"527\" height=\"254\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Your iPhone can track you wherever you go &#8211; Go to <strong>Settings&gt;Privacy&gt;Location Services&gt;System Services<\/strong>\u00a0and figure out which of Apple\u2019s system services are tracking your location.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Disable the ones you don\u2019t use. And for senior privacy purpose, you can also turn the feature off in <strong>Settings&gt;Privacy&gt;Location Services&gt;System Services&gt;Frequent Locations<\/strong>.<strong>Control Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Control Center can be really convenient for your operation with unlocking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">But it also lets a thief turn on Airplane Mode, disable the GPS as well as cellular and WiFi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">In this way, the iPhone they have just stole cannot be tracked.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Aller \u00e0 <strong>Settings and select Control Center<\/strong>. From there, disable <strong>Access on Lock Screen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Erase data<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">With the <strong>Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>\u00a0category, there is a built-in security setting many people don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">At the bottom of the <strong>Settings&gt;Touch ID &amp; Passcode<\/strong>\u00a0screen, you\u2019ll find the <strong>Erase Data<\/strong>\u00a0toggle. Enable it and all data on your iPhone will be erased after 10 failed passcode attempts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Well, don\u2019t be anxious, back up through iCloud and you should be able to retrieve most of it later on.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><strong>Two-Factor Authentication<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">For iPhone security layer, you have a passcode, and you have touch id.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">The sad thing is that Apple doesn&#8217;t allow you to use both passcode and Touch ID for added iPhone security. That\u2019s when we put up with two-factor authentication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Which means that when you enter your Apple ID and password for the first time on a new device, there are two steps waiting for you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Enter your regular password at the beginning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Then you will have to verify your identity with a six-digit verification code using one of your other devices.
