Users might be confused by the definition of PIN lock and EFI firmware lock.\u00a0And the way they might have affected the Macbook. Then hold Option Key and power on. Another LOCK\u00a0appears\u00a0on the pop up window. We can draw the conclusion that the MacBook has been Locked by Hackers, since both two passwords failed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/4dffb7d7-336d-4bb3-8035-9a52f54409d6-2.jpg\" alt=\"Power off. Then hold Option Key and power on. Another LOCK appears on the pop up window. We can draw the conclusion that the MacBook has been Locked by Hackers, since both two passwords failed.\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Confirm the MacBook SN\u00a0first.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Remove\u00a0the lower case and disconnect the primary battery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/80cf4541-a84e-4adc-a4cf-efd84fee9ddb-DSC_2112.jpg\" alt=\"Remove the lower case and disconnect the primary battery.\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Locate the EFI chip that\u00a0stores\u00a0information. This chip is the key to the unlocking\u00a0process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/8243015e-44f9-4765-9f31-e8b6de99a252-3.jpg\" alt=\"Locate the EFI chip that stores information. This chip is the key to the unlocking process.\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Then take out the logic board and remove heat sink afterwards. Input the chip model\u00a0number, then Read and backup chip data.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/2b2d84c7-63cf-4878-b391-4a8a6e3f6aa5-6.jpg\" alt=\"Connect with the unlock software. Input the chip model number, then Read and backup chip data.\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">Load a specific firmware data. Improper firmware may result in unsuccessful unlocking or slow system after successful unlocking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.rewa.tech\/image\/970037f1-e1f6-4c7a-b63f-06cbe29ddbd8-7.jpg\" alt=\"Load a specific firmware data. MacBook unlocked\u00a0successfully. MacBook unlocked successfully.
