The iPhone X battery is draining fast with an overheating issue. After measurement, the motherboard is found to have a current leakage. Since the current is too small, rosin detecting is unable to find the fault. Therefore, we use a thermal imager to find the faulty part. After multiple checks, the faulty part is found to be under the card reader.
