Replace the shorted C5655 capacitor. Once replaced, the short circuit disappears and the phone powers on normally.

Case 2: Speaker Rings Once, Then No Sound

Symptoms:

  • The speaker makes a single ring or sound
  • No audio afterward

Diagnosis & Fix:

This issue is typically caused by poor soldering of the speaker amplifier ICs. Diagnosing each chip individually can be time-consuming, so the recommended approach is to directly replace both speaker amplifier ICs: U5102 and U4902.
