Troubleshooting

For the iPhone 8 Plus Camera Not Working issue. Firstly, take apart the phone and run the cosmetic inspection of the motherboard.

Then check the rear camera connector J3900 with a multimeter, the measured diode value is normal. According to the experience of repair, we can try to replace the camera power supply IC U3700.

After replacing it with a new one, then get the motherboard mounted and test again, the rear camera function comes back to normal. Problem resolved.

1. We need to check the motherboard cosmetic and replace a new camera or camera module to  test
2. Measure diode values on the related connectors
3. If still unresolved, check the working conditions like the power supply, reset signal, etc. get fulfilled or not
4. For two layers structure motherboard, we need to check whether the camera function issue is caused by the poor connection between the two layers of the motherboard or not.
