Front Glass Separation

Heating:

  • Use the suction button to secure the screen tightly.
  • Place the screen on the Desktop Laminating Machine set at 100℃ to heat it.

  • Insert the golden cutting wire into the gap and gently move it back and forth to separate the glass from the screen. Add more alcohol around the earpiece frame as needed.

  • Once the front glass is removed, place the screen in the lamination mold.
  • Remove the OCA adhesive using the mini electronic roller.
  • Clean the residual OCA glue with N-hexane.

Testing After Glass Removal

Install the OLED screen to test the display and touch functions again. This ensures that the screen has not been damaged during the glass removal process.

Preparation:

  • Align the OLED screen in the specified mold and clean it with a dust-free wiper.
  • Apply an easy-tear sticker at the top-right corner of the new glass cover and peel off the protective film.

Alignment and Positioning:

  • Align the new front glass with the OLED screen on the mold.
  • Place the glass in position and remove the display upside down.

Lamination:

  • Place the display screen on the laminating mold.
  • Insert the screen into the lamination machine, which has a built-in air compressor and vacuum pump for both laminating and bubble removal.
  • Press the “Auto start” button to begin the lamination and bubble removal process. This takes about 11 minutes.

Post-Lamination:

  • After lamination, remove the display. Ensure that the lamination is perfect and there are no bubbles inside.
  • Reinstall the sensing cable shielding cover and reassemble the phone.
