Malfunction Phenomenon
The Wi-Fi function can work normally, but can’t search Wi-Fi signals.
Trouble Shooting
For iPhone X No WiFi signal issue. First, let’s take apart the phone and run the cosmetic inspection of the motherboard, after checking, everything looks fine.
Then detach the two layers of the motherboard from each other. According to the experience of repair, we need to resolve this issue with the dummy antenna method.
From the circuit diagram, connected a long line to L7704_W as an antenna, then display assembly installed and test, the Wi-Fi signal is normal. So we can confirm that the Wi-Fi module is in normal status.
After that, connect a long line to L2011_E as an antenna, the Wi-Fi signal is also normal.
Then we connected a long line to L2009_E as an antenna, the Wi-Fi signal is abnormal.
So we can conclude that the fault is related to FLQPLX_E.
Need to get it replaced with a new one.
After replacing, then make the upper layer and lower layer solder together. Assemble it and test again, the problem resolved.
