Samsung galaxy S8 Plus Cannot Boot Up,  just suddenly stopped working during normal use.

Troubleshooting

Disassemble the phone and connect with DC power supply, find large current.

 After measuring, we find it’s VPH_PWR get to GND.

Then use rosin inspection method, apply DC power to find out the shorted component.

It’s a filter type capacitor C3018 which related with VPH_PWR power supply get shorted.

As we can see, it’s just located around the Wi-Fi chip.

Just tick it off directly, then test.

The phone can boot normally, the boot issue get resolved.
